2010 Stanley Cup: Chicago Blackhawks Parade

After 49 years since 1961, the Chicago Blackhawks finally won the Stanley Cup. They won over Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 in overtime of Game 6. The Chicago Blackhawks will have a parade in celebration of the 2010 Stanley Cup.

According to the Municipal Office of Emergency Management and Communication, parade will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 11. The champions will start at the intersection of Wacker Drive and Washington Street, then go east on Washington St. at Michigan Ave. The rally will take place approximately 11:30 a.m. at Wacker and Michigan.

The Blackhawks grabbed the cup after the overtime victory Wednesday night. The Chicago Blackhawks Parade is a good way to celebrate their victory. Thousands of fans will surely party the streets as their favorite players pass by.
