Police catch third suspect in Scranton robbery near mall
Third arrest made in teen's robbery
SCRANTON - Police have nabbed a third suspect in the Monday robbery of a teenager in the 800 block of Capouse Avenue.
Police charged Charlie Wilson, 17, 238 Colfax Ave., as an adult with robbery and related counts, saying he, 18-year-old Ira Miller and a 17-year-old boy robbed the teen of $70. Mr. Miller and the 17-year-old were arrested shortly after the robbery outside the Mall at Steam town.
The victim spotted the suspects in the mall and notified security, leading to a chase during which Mr. Wilson eluded his pursuers.
Police arrested Mr. Wilson on Friday as he arrived at the Lackawanna County Adult Probation office as part of a sentence resulting from an earlier theft charge.
