controversial Supreme Court ruling against the state and local prohibited weapon earlier this week

This tragedy comes within days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the ban was unconstitutional Chicago gun. The Court had already ruled against the Washington DC ban.

The Supreme Court affirmed the Second Amendment Constitutional right to bear arms in a five to four decision. Laws relating to the second modification can not be made at national or local level across the board for all citizens. However, according to a report by CBS News, the ruling does not preclude state and local officials to create ways to get and keep guns out of the hands of criminals.

Reporters asked police Castor and Tampa had planned prior to the ruling of the Supreme Court to ban any gun to enact. Castor refrain from commenting in particular.

Second Amendment supporters argue that criminals will always be able to get guns. Law-abiding citizens will follow the rules for obtaining firearms. Criminals will bypass them non-federal, statewide and local laws to obtain weapons.

Prayers from around Tampa Bay to start from the officers' families and the Tampa Police Department. May they find comfort in the peace of God that all human understanding (Philippians 4:7) can surpass.
